Yahya Jama'an, Deputy Governor of Sana'a for Investment Affairs, inspected on Monday the level of work discipline in the Sana'a Electricity Directorate and the Traffic Police Department following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
During his visit to the electricity directorate, Jama'an reviewed workflow and the discipline of the staff. He was briefed by the Director of the Directorate, Engineer Ghazi Ahmed, and his technical deputy, Majed Al-Baslani, and commercial deputy, Ibrahim Rafiq, on the progress in repairing the electricity network and restoring power to several districts.
They discussed the challenges facing operations and ways to address them, emphasizing that the support of the local authority leadership is crucial to the success of the electricity sector and ensuring service delivery to all citizens.
Jama'an stressed the importance of responsibility, overcoming challenges, and intensifying efforts to provide better services to citizens.
Later, the deputy governor visited the Traffic Police Department to assess workflow and discipline across its various units. He was briefed by the Director of Traffic, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al-Ataki, and his deputy, Colonel Ahmed Al-Masri, on the efforts of traffic personnel to enhance traffic discipline, especially with the increasing number of vehicles in the province, which serves as a vital link between the capital and other provinces.
Jama'an emphasized the need to strengthen traffic discipline, raise awareness among road users about traffic rules, improve road safety, reduce violations and accidents. He also highlighted the province's support for the Traffic Department in improving services and administrative performance.
In turn, Al-Ataki and Al-Masri appreciated the local authority's efforts in supporting traffic personnel to regulate traffic movement effectively.
