The commander of the Iranian Border Guard, Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, announced that Iran has destroyed 44 Israeli drones on its border.
IRNA quoted Goudarzi as saying on Sunday: "Following the Zionist regime's airstrike, over the past 48 hours, 44 drones and small aircraft belonging to this evil regime were detected and destroyed, thanks to the vigilance of the Border Guards."
Referring to the Border Guards' full operational readiness to monitor and guard Iran's borders, he added: "The brave Iranian Border Guards, with their full readiness to control and guard the borders, have warned all hostile, terrorist, armed groups, and smugglers that they will respond forcefully to any attack on the country's border security."
Goudarzi affirmed full solidarity with other armed forces, emphasizing intelligence surveillance to maintain Iran's security and confront any threats along the border strip.
