The Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, mourned the martyrdom of their field commander, Iyad Deeb Ali Abu Rahma (35 years old).
The forces said in a statement today, Wednesday, received by the Yemeni News Agency, that Commander Abu Rahma was one of the most prominent field commanders and the head of training and preparation in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
He was martyred during the Battle of Tufan Al-Aqsa, at dawn on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. He was martyred in a cowardly assassination operation carried out by Zionist warplanes, which bombed the location where he was located south of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The forces added that the Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces, as they bid farewell to their leaders and fighters, one martyr after another, affirms that they will remain on their path by continuing the struggle and resistance until our people achieve their goals of freedom, return, independence, and the establishment of our Palestinian state with Quds as its capital.
