The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Mu'ayyad Shaaban, stated that Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,691 attacks during the month of May, continuing the enemy state's ongoing terrorism against the Palestinian people, their lands, and their property.
Shaaban explained in the commission's monthly report, "Enemy Violations and Settlement Expansion Measures," that the Israeli army carried out 1,276 attacks, while settlers carried out 415. The attacks were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah with 283 attacks, Hebron with 271, and Nablus with 265.
He pointed out that the attacks included armed attacks on Palestinian villages, imposing facts on the ground, field executions, vandalizing and leveling lands, uprooting trees, seizing property, and closures and checkpoints that sever Palestinian geography.
