The Orphan Development Foundation launched on Tuesday a project to distribute Eid al-Adha clothing and food baskets to residents of an orphan care house in Al-Mahwit province, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
The Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation, Engineer Abdulkarim Al-Soloul, the Director of the Security and Intelligence Agency branch, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Wajeeh, and the Director of the Social Affairs Office, Dr. Yahya Al-Tayyari, emphasized the importance of the project in alleviating the hardships of orphans and bringing joy to their lives.
They noted that the initiative is part of the activities and projects implemented by the foundation to serve orphans and meet their needs. They highlighted that caring for orphans, the poor, and the needy is both a religious and humanitarian duty, contributing to the promotion of social solidarity.
