The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, condemned the crime committed by the Palestinian Authority security forces in Jenin, which resulted in the death of an elderly man and the injury of several citizens after direct gunfire at a vehicle in the eastern neighborhood of the city.
The movement said in a statement, "This indifference and blatant persistence in shedding Palestinian blood at the hands of those supposed to protect it can only be understood as a blatant disregard for all moral and humanitarian standards by the leaders and members of these forces."
