The Israeli occupation army admitted that one of its soldiers and four settlers were wounded Wednesday afternoon in two separate shooting and ramming attacks in Jenin and Hebron in the West Bank.
An Israeli army spokesperson said that four settlers were wounded after their vehicle was shot near the Barta'a checkpoint, west of Jenin, before the perpetrator withdrew from the scene.
He added that a report had been received of a shooting attack in the area of the Rayhan crossing near Jenin.
For its part, the Israeli ambulance service announced that it had treated four settler casualties after a shooting attack targeting them.
In the city of Hebron, a soldier was wounded in a ramming attack at the "Sadat al-Fahs" checkpoint near Hebron, while Israeli forces opened fire on the perpetrator.
