Gaza - (Saba):
Deir al-Balah Municipality warned on Wednesday of a complete cessation of its basic services, particularly water services, due to the severe shortage of diesel fuel needed to operate water well generators and other vital facilities.
Palestine Today News Agency quoted the municipality as saying that the continuation of this crisis could cause a real disaster, disrupting basic services and exacerbating the humanitarian suffering in the city.
For more than 60 days, the Israeli occupation army has continued to close border crossings and outlets, preventing the entry of emergency humanitarian aid and fuel, as part of its war of extermination against the Palestinian people.
