Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Dr. Radwan al-Rubai met on Wednesday in the capital Sana'a with the team developing principles, standards, and controls for formulating general policies for water resources management and development.
During the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture emphasized the importance of involving experts, elites, and academics in developing principles, standards, and controls for formulating and correcting general policies for integrated water resources management.
He noted that this meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry's efforts to implement the policy correction program, which came in response to the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council to utilize rainwater harvesting and protect and regulate resources and the basic necessities of life from the risks of water depletion and pollution.
He urged intensified efforts to implement the Ministry's programs and directives to correct policies and work methods in water resources management and development, based on divine instructions and caution against wasting water as a resource and wealth for the nation.
