Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects continued scattered thunderstorms across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity, possibly accompanied by hail, are likely to fall on the governorates of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Dhale'e, Al Bayda, western Sana'a, Amran, and the highlands of the Tihama plain.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Ma'rib, Al Mahrah, Socotra, and the highlands of Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramaut.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Ibb over the past 24 hours was 21.9 mm, Ibb al-Saddah: 16.6 mm, Dhamar: 9.4 mm, Taiz: 7.9 mm, Raymah: 4.2 mm, and Al Bayda: 4.2 mm.
Rainfall of varying intensity fell outside the stations' range in parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ad Dhale, Shabwah, Hadramaut, and the highlands of the Tihama Plain.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines and advised against crossing or staying in them during and after rainfall.
It also warned of poor visibility due to rain and fog on roads and mountain slopes, as well as of thunderstorms, strong downward winds, and hail, calling for necessary measures to protect lives and property.
