Dhale’ - Saba:
The distribution of tillage equipment to farmers in development associations across the districts of Damt, Juban, Qa'taba, and Al-Hasha was launched on Tuesday in Al-Dhale’ province, with support from the Agricultural Financing Unit and the local authority.
During the inauguration, the Acting Governor, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, explained that agricultural sectors had been provided with a shovel and an excavator, in addition to delivering four tillage machines to the targeted associations to support farmers. This step enhances their role within the plans to focus on agriculture and achieve sustainable food security.
At the event, attended by the Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Saleh Hajib, Al-Shaghdari praised the associations' efforts in developing the agricultural sector and raising awareness of its importance through land reclamation and cultivation, especially with the upcoming farming season.
He urged farmers to focus on cultivating and reclaiming agricultural land to contribute to achieving self-sufficiency and reducing reliance on imported products.
