The Summer Activities Subcommittee and the Youth and Sports Office of the Capital Sanaa launched the Summer School Football League Championship in the Tahrir District, with the participation of 900 players from the junior, cadet, and youth categories.
The tournament is held under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad." The tournament will feature a group system and qualify for the semifinals. The goal is to promote physical fitness and general health and create a positive, competitive environment among schools.
During the launch ceremony, youth and sports officials praised the role of summer schools in discovering athletic talent, emphasizing the importance of combining academic achievement with sports activities to build a strong and cohesive generation.
The tournament is part of the summer school activities, which aim to invest youth's time during the summer vacation in beneficial programs that promote educational values and teamwork.
