Omar Bahar, the educational sector official in Al-Hodeida province , a member of the Subcommittee for Summer Courses and Activities, inspected on Saturday the educational progress and cultural activities at the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Summer Center in Al-Mina District.
During the visit, accompanied by Ibrahim Ayed, the director of the district's education office, Bahar listened to a detailed explanation from the center's administration about the daily program and the level of student engagement in the activities and courses. He praised the commitment, discipline, and vitality in performance, as well as the adherence to implementing the programs according to the approved central plan.
Bahar described the summer schools as "beacons of light that build minds, elevate ambitions, and shape generations capable of facing challenges." He emphasized their role in enhancing cognitive skills, memorizing the Holy Qur'an, reinforcing Qur'anic culture, and developing various abilities and talents.
He also stressed the importance of raising community awareness about the value of summer courses, noting that protecting youth from foreign ideologies and destructive ideas is a shared responsibility.
