Iraqi Fatah Alliance: Yemeni Resilience thwarts US objectives in Red Sea

Baghdad – SABA:

A leader in the Iraqi Fatah Alliance, Adi Abdul Hadi, affirmed on Saturday that despite the United States' intensive use of airpower and its dropping of over a thousand tons of explosives on Yemeni cities, it has failed to secure the passage of ships linked to the "Zionist enemy" in the Red Sea.

The news agency "Al-Ma'louma" quoted Abdul Hadi as saying, "The U.S. aircraft carried out more than 100 airstrikes in less than two weeks, targeting Yemeni cities and ports, resulting in hundreds of civilian casualties, including women and children." He noted that "90% of the bombed sites were service and economic facilities, as part of a systematic war of attrition against the Yemeni people."

He added, "Despite the intensity of the American airstrikes and the scale of losses in lives and infrastructure, they have not succeeded in achieving security and reassurance for cargo ships heading to the Zionist entity. This reflects a resounding failure of the U.S. forces in achieving their military and political objectives."

Abdul Hadi continued, "The resilience of the Yemeni people in the face of American airstrikes embodies the spirit of resistance and faith in the justice of their cause, confirming that American arrogance will not succeed in breaking the will of the Yemenis." He emphasized that "the Yemeni army will continue to confront the aggression and will restore the balance of deterrence through qualitative operations that force the aggressor to retreat."
