In the face of waves of cultural alienation and moral decay, summer courses emerge as a unique national educational initiative, designed to build a Qur’anic generation, deeply rooted in its identity, solid in its awareness, and proud of its belonging.
These courses are one of the key fronts of resilience, whose necessity was recognized early on by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council. Hence, came their directives, support, and supervision at the highest levels, recognizing that the greatest battle is the battle for awareness.
From this deep understanding, summer courses were launched to reshape the collective consciousness of Yemeni youth, instilling in them values of truth, freedom, dignity, and pride, as they confront the propaganda machine and the soft war that targets minds and souls before bodies.
In his latest speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi outlined the role of these courses as a shield for the youth against drift, building a person who is not easily deceived, who does not surrender to psychological defeat, and who rejects deliberate cultural distortion.
Each summer, revolutionary directives are transformed into a nationwide educational movement, where the efforts of the state, community awareness, teachers' passion, and parents’ dedication converge to create an alternative environment—a comprehensive institution of consciousness guiding the next generation toward spiritual and intellectual security.
In these schools, students are not only taught how to read and write but how to be human—how to know their identity, hold onto their faith, be proud of their roots, and stand confidently against any force trying to rob them of their essence.
They are beacons of truth amid the darkness of the soft war, safe harbors in stormy times, and real operations centers for preparing a generation that won’t be fooled by advertisements or empty slogans.
Here, the seeds of victory are planted. Faith is rooted in hearts still pure, and concepts like patience, dignity, and sacrifice grow with them, shaping their vision for their homeland and their place in the existential struggle.
From the pages of the Qur’an, they learn light, stance, and belief—that truth has a path, freedom has a price, and identity has a value that can neither be bought nor sold.
It is no surprise that these courses are gaining growing societal appreciation, as families witness their deep impact on their children's behavior, thinking, and engagement with national and regional causes.
These classes and sessions—rich with Qur’an, awareness, and vibrant activities—are factories of tomorrow’s men, nurseries for future leaders, and launchpads toward a stronger, more grounded nation.
From cities to villages, a summer map full of life unfolds, led by dedicated volunteer teachers, eager students, and families confidently entrusting their children to the light.
In these schools, there is no room for emptiness or time for loss—every moment makes a difference, every lesson adds to the psychological and intellectual defense wall of the youth.
These schools have proven to be the true and effective counter to all projects of triviality and moral erosion, and to all attempts to strip the generation of its identity and plant it in foreign soil.
The summer school today is a construction project, a resistance platform, a beacon of light, and an educational front no less important than military fronts, for it shapes awareness—the most crucial weapon in the nation's battle.
With each new summer, hope is renewed, and ambition grows, as we witness the conscious crafting of a generation that knows no defeat, rejects cultural distortion, fears no blame in standing for truth, and holds tighter to the Qur’an, better understands true Islam, and becomes more aware of the enemy’s conspiracies—more determined to support the causes of the nation, foremost among them Palestine.
A generation that writes across the face of time: “We are the children of this land, this identity, this religion.” A generation from the summer schools will carry the banner, make a difference, and move steadily toward the future.
With every summer, determination grows, and the will becomes firmer, as these summer courses continue to light the path for future generations, shielding them against destructive ideologies, serving as a long-standing educational front aiming to build the human being at the deepest level, enhance awareness, and deepen connection to homeland and faith.
In the face of the challenges confronting our nation, these courses remain the strongest weapon in the battle of awareness and development, forming the cornerstone of a generation capable of carrying the nation’s banner toward a bright, undefeated future.
