Sana'a - Saba:

Dar al-Iftaa in the capital Sana'a has officially announced that Sunday will mark the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

The announcement followed the sighting of the Shawal crescent moon on Saturday, the 29th day of Ramadan.

In a statement, Dar al-Iftaa extended warm congratulations to the Yemeni people and its leadership, as well as the broader Islamic nation. They prayed for the acceptance of everyone's fasting, prayers, and good deeds.

The statement also included prayers for the safety and well-being of all, and for the relief of Palestinians in Gaza, asking for their protection and victory. Dar al-Iftaa concluded by invoking blessings upon Prophet Muhammad and his family.
