The United States continues to practice the same deception, perpetuating its political contradiction in its fight against terrorism, starting with funding some terrorist groups, as it did in supporting the Arab Afghans against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, and continuing with its support and funding of certain organizations while turning a blind eye to others. In the meantime, it continues to brazenly exploit the charge of terrorism to wage wars and target countries.
Its war against Afghanistan (2001-2021) is not that long ago. The declared goal of that war was to eliminate terrorism; however, in that war, it claimed the lives of thousands of innocent civilians. Twenty years later, it left Afghanistan, and it didn't tell us whether it had found and eliminated terrorism.
It invaded Iraq on hollow charges and destroyed the country's resources. It didn't tell us later whether it had found weapons of mass destruction.
In its aggression against Yemen, it raises the accusation of terrorism, while at the same time practicing terrorism in its most heinous forms: by targeting residential neighborhoods and peaceful civilians. America continues to target cities, farms, cotton gins, animal pens, historical monuments, and civilian objects, while Yemen has not targeted a city, farm, residential neighborhood, or animal pen.
Yemenis are defending their country and supporting their brothers in Gaza، they have not used their excess power to terrorize others.
America insists on accusing Yemen of terrorism, while Washington has not reviewed a full year of missile strikes and airstrikes on various regions of Yemen, based on the same accusations, which have claimed dozens of lives and destroyed some economic resources, nor has it told us whether it has found anything to support its propaganda.
What the Israeli enemy has been practicing in the Gaza Strip for more than 16 months, and over seven decades in the occupied Palestinian territories, is not terrorism in Washington's view, but Yemen's support for Gaza is.
The massacres committed by the Israeli enemy in the occupied Palestinian territories are, in Washington's view, self-defense; however, it considers the Palestinian resistance's response to be terrorism, even though the resistance has not committed a massacre, nor has it practiced dragging, starving, depriving, killing, displacing, or besieging anyone.
The massacres and crimes of genocide committed by the Israeli enemy, condemned by international courts, are, in Washington's view, self-defense. Washington supports it with money and weapons, and its conscience is not shaken by the horror of the bloodshed of children, women, and others dying under the rubble, from hunger, thirst, lack of medicine, and the ongoing blockade.
The United States is practicing a clear contradiction and blatant deception in its manipulation of concepts. It is practicing terrorism against the entire world, so that it will be silenced and not be told that it is terrorism.
Washington's decision to expel the South African ambassador is clear evidence of the terrorism it is practicing; to the point that it does not tolerate other opinions, thus proving the lie of the values it espouses of freedom of expression and human rights. Likewise, its targeting and persecution of supporters of the oppressed Palestinians in America is perhaps one of the most heinous forms of terrorism.
The United States has used all forms of threats and intimidation against the International Criminal Court because it approved the issuance of arrest warrants for Zionist leaders on charges of committing genocide.
There is nothing more heinous than the US President's statement to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) that it must hand over all Israeli prisoners unless Gaza is turned into hell, is threatening to turn a residential area of more than two million people into hell not terrorism?
Trump said he would turn Canada into the 51st state and threatened to seize islands belonging to Denmark. Isn't this terrorism? If this isn't terrorism, what is? That is, if we ignore the numerous pieces of evidence and proof of American terrorism...all of which prove that American deception, based on arrogance and haughtiness, is rooted in excess power and the colonial spirit inherent in the American mentality, rather than on principles of respect for human dignity.
