Sa'ada sees massive protests for International al-Quds Day

Sa'ada - Saba:

Thirty-five large-scale marches took place on Friday afternoon across Sa'ada province to commemorate International al-Quds Day, demonstrating strong support for the Palestinian cause.

Participants in the marches, held in various locations including the Prophet's Birthday Square and other district centers, chanted anti-Israel and anti-American slogans, declaring Israel a "cancerous tumor" and the United States the "Great Satan." They vowed that airstrikes would not deter their support for the Palestinian people.

Sa'ada governor Mohammed Awad praised the high turnout, emphasizing the Yemeni people's fearlessness and continued commitment to supporting Palestine.

A statement issued by the marches highlighted International al-Quds Day as a call for Islamic unity against Israel, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict in Gaza and alleged Israeli aggression against Lebanon and Syria. The statement criticized Arab and Islamic inaction and accused the United States of complicity.

The statement connected al-Quds Day marches to the tenth anniversary of Yemen's "National Day of Steadfastness," framing them as a continuation of Yemen's resistance against the Saudi-led aggression and the United States. They emphasized Yemen's unwavering support for Palestine, even amid their own aggression.

The statement reiterated Yemen's commitment to "jihad" against the United States and Israel enemy, expressing confidence in divine victory. They also praised the Yemeni people's resilience against the Saudi-led aggression, citing their ongoing support for Palestine as a testament to their principles.
