Sana’a – SABA:
The Al-Bun Agricultural Agency team was crowned champion of the 8th Martyr Abdulqader Hilal Ramadan Football Championship, organized by the Masek Youth Council as part of the 18th Ramadan Football League.
Al-Bun secured the title after a hard-fought victory over the Al-Amjad Restaurants team, winning 4-2 in a penalty shootout, following a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
At the end of the match, former Minister of Transport Abdulwahab Al-Durra, Chairman of the Services Committee at the Capital Secretariat Adel Al-Aqari, and several senior officials including Abdullah Muharram, Yahya Jameel, Ali Sharem, Naji Al-Qawsi, Ahsan Qadhi, and Assistant Secretary-General of the Football Association Al-Hassan Al-Jalal, along with Mohammed Al-Hadhrami, Secretary of the Shaoub District Local Council, and Hussein Hilal, son of the late martyr, awarded:
Al-Bun Agricultural Agency with the championship cup and gold medals
The Al-Amjad team with the runner-up cup and silver medals
Individual Awards:
- Best Player: Ahmed Saban (Al-Bun)
- Top Scorer: Akram Hajar (Al-Bun)
- Best Goalkeeper: Adnan Al-Khawai (Al-Amjad)
Additionally, sponsors and media partners of the championship were honored.
The match and awards ceremony were attended by officials from the Capital Secretariat, local authorities from Shaoub and Azal districts, and supporters and relatives of the late Martyr Abdulqader Hilal.
