The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics and the Palestine Monetary Authority announced that Palestine's net international investment balance reached $7.101 million at the end of the fourth quarter of 2024.
The statement indicated that the disparity between the Palestinian economy's investment balances abroad and its foreign investment balances in Palestine remains large.
The statement added that 58% of the Palestinian economy's external assets are currency and deposits, with receivables from Israel increasing by 15% compared to the previous quarter.
Total Palestinian assets invested abroad amounted to approximately $13.087 million, of which 75% are investments in currency and deposits.
The statement also indicated that Palestine's total external debt reached $2.092 million, a 2% decrease compared to the previous quarter.
