Occupied Quds:
Israeli media reported that the so-called Israeli Security Cabinet approved last night a proposal submitted by Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, which calls for the establishment of a new administration within the Ministry of Defense to organize and enable Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip "voluntarily" to third countries.
The Times of Israel newspaper quoted the office of the Israeli Defense Minister as saying in a statement that the new administration will work to "prepare to secure and organize the safe and orderly departure of Gaza residents."
He explained that this will be achieved by providing transportation routes and screening measures for travelers at specific crossings within the Strip, in addition to coordinating the necessary infrastructure to facilitate travel by land, sea, and air to their final destinations.
The statement also indicated that these efforts are being carried out "in accordance with Israeli and international laws, and in line with the vision of US President Donald Trump," it said.
