Sana'a-Saba:
The Attorney General directed (Judge Abdul Salam al-Houthi) to release several prisoners in the Habra Reserve during his inspection visit to the conditions of central and reserve prisons, accompanied by several Public Prosecution officials.
Those released included convicted prisoners who served three quarters of their sentences and whose good behavior was proven, insolvent prisoners whose debts were paid by philanthropists, in addition to detainees pending investigation with the necessary guarantee.
The Attorney General confirmed that visits to prisons continue on the occasion of the month of Ramadan, in implementation of the directives of Abdul Malik Al-Houthi and Mahdi Al-Mashat. He also called on prosecutors to "expedite the completion of cases and ensure the integrity of legal procedures to achieve prompt justice".
