Doha-Saba:
The spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari, said on Saturday evening, "We are reassured by the commitment of the parties to the Gaza agreement.. and things are going positively."

Al-Ansari added in a press conference: "The Joint Operations Room to Monitor the Agreement in Gaza has begun its work in Cairo."
He continued: "We know from our previous experiences that the process of exchanging hostages (occupation prisoners) is not simple, and we expect the Security Council to support the agreement in Gaza."

He explained that "the Joint Operations Room in Cairo will supervise the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip." He pointed out that "the Joint Room in Cairo will also supervise the hostage exchange process."

He stressed that "no breach has been recorded so far regarding the Gaza agreement." He called for "not paying attention to political statements at this moment."

Al-Ansari expressed his "optimism about the seriousness of the Trump administration in committing to supporting the agreement in Gaza," adding: "We cannot afford the failure of this deal." He added: "We are committed until we see a clear future in Gaza."
