Saada - Saba:
The Public Prosecution in Saada Governorate destroyed today 28 million, 281 thousand and 12 Pregabalin pills, of banned drugs.

The destruction process was carried out using modern tools to protect the environment from any pollution in the presence of the Governor of the Governorate, Mohammed Awad, the President of the Court of Appeal, Judge Suleiman Al-Shamiri, and the President of the Appeal Prosecution, Judge Ibrahim Jahez.
Governor Awad praised the efforts of the security services in seizing these drugs, which come in line with the successes achieved by the Yemeni people in maintaining security, uncovering spy cells, and military victories over the enemy on land and sea.

The head of the prosecution, Judge Jahez, explained that the damaged materials were seized in 315 operations last year, while trying to smuggle them into Saudi territory, and they were coming from areas controlled by the aggression forces. He praised the security efforts made in seizing these materials, the smuggling of which is considered a punishable crime, stressing the keenness of the prosecution to play its role in confronting all types of crimes and bringing their perpetrators to trial to receive their deterrent punishment.

The destruction operation was attended by the governor's deputy for environmental affairs, Mohammed Al-Badani, the public funds prosecutor, Judge Mahmoud Al-Alawi, and the criminal prosecutor, Judge Ali Abu Talib, the deputy director of the Health and Environment Office, Dr. Khaled Farah, the commander of the security belt, Colonel Ali Madaas, the commander of the central security, Colonel Najib Al-Jashmi, the assistant director of drug control in the governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Hussein Al-Sittin, and a number of leaders of the security services.
