Sana'a (Saba):
The leadership and employees of the slaughterhouse office in the secretariat of the capital Sana'a visited the Great Mosque in old Sana'a to celebrate the anniversary of Friday Rajab, which marks the entry of Yemenis into Islam.
During the visit, the office director, Ahmed Idris, and the branch staff were briefed on the historical and cultural monuments of the mosque, including its library, which contains thousands of books and manuscripts, including the Quran of Imam Ali (as).
The attendees stressed the importance of the Great Mosque as one of the most prominent Islamic landmarks in Yemen, pointing to its symbolism as a religious identity of the Yemeni people and its historical role in Yemenis entering Islam on the first Friday of Rajab. They explained that the visit comes to strengthen the connection of religious identity with this historical anniversary.
