The government media office in Gaza confirmed Monday that the number of deaths due to the severe cold and frost waves among the displaced people whose homes were destroyed by the Zionist enemy has risen to eight deaths.
According to Palestinian media, the office said in a statement "The number of deaths due to the severe cold and frost waves among the displaced in the tents has risen to eight deaths, and the number is likely to increase due to the tragic conditions experienced by the displaced whose homes were destroyed by the enemy since the beginning of the genocide crime in the Strip.
The office held the Zionist enemy fully responsible for the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the American administration and the countries that supported and participated in the genocide such as Britain, Germany and France, demanding stopping the genocide.
It called on the international community and international and UN organizations to urgently intervene and take immediate action and play an effective role in pressuring the Zionist enemy to stop the genocide crime and stop its serious repercussions on the humanitarian situation in the Strip.
The office appealed to all humanitarian and international parties to take urgent action to save civilians in the Gaza Strip and provide them with basic needs such as shelter, food and medicine in a way that guarantees their human dignity and preserves their lives from the cold of winter and severe frost waves.
