At least eight people were killed as a result of a fire that broke out in a residential building in the Kirov region of Russia.
The city's emergency services said in a statement today, Monday: A fire broke out in a residential building in the village of Kelmyz in the Kirov region of northwestern Russia, which led to the death of eight people.
The statement added: Firefighting teams were able to extinguish the fire, which spread over an area of about 480 square meters, and the circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.
