Mahweet province held 43 marches and a significant stand on Friday, showing strong support for the Palestinian people under the slogan: "We are steadfast with proud Gaza.. with our faith identity and our Quranic path."
These events, attended by local authorities, security, and executive leaders, took place across several districts of Mahweet, including the city itself, Shibam Kawkaban, al-Tawila, al-Rujm, and others.
Participants expressed opposition to the "Zionist-American-British enemy" and reiterated their support for the Palestinian cause, particularly emphasizing the importance of Arab and Islamic unity in confronting aggression and the ongoing struggle for Palestinian independence with Jerusalem as its capital.
The participants also highlighted the significance of Rajab Friday, a day commemorating Yemen's embrace of Islam, underscoring the nation's attachment to Islamic values and resilience.
They praised the recent military victories of Yemen's armed forces, including the use of sonic missiles and drones against Israel, viewing these actions as part of a legitimate defense of Palestinian rights. The statement issued at the event emphasized the Yemeni people's unwavering support for Gaza and their ongoing commitment to jihad and the battle for the liberation of Palestine.
The participants reaffirmed their determination to stay true to their faith-based positions, citing their readiness to face challenges, make sacrifices, and continue their military efforts in support of Gaza.
The participants also called on the Arab and Islamic world to unite in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people, invoking God's support and praying for the success of Mujahideen/ fighters, the relief of the oppressed, and victory for the cause.
