Sana'a - Saba:
The training course for archery referees and coaches, organized by the General Federation of Archery, under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Ministry and the support of the Youth and Youth Welfare Fund, began on Tuesday at the Olympic Center in Sana'a.
The course, which is held over five consecutive days, is attended by 30 coaches and referees from both categories (male and female), representing a number of provinces of the Republic, private centers practicing the game, the participation of disabled , deaf and dumb people practicing the sport of archery.
During the inauguration ceremony, Ali Hadban, Undersecretary of the Sports Sector at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, praised the keenness of the Archery Federation to implement such activities, which contribute to the rehabilitation and development of the technical capabilities of referees and coaches. He pointed out that coaches and referees are the main base for the development of sports games.
The Secretary General of the Archery Federation, Tarek Hannash, emphasized that holding this course comes out of the keenness of the leadership of the federation to achieve an important goal, which is to qualify the game's cadres of referees and coaches in order to advance the sport of archery and expand its practice base in the various provinces of the Republic.
For his part, the Director of Federations at the Youth and Sports Ministry , Wael Al-Qurash, praised the role of the General Archery Federation in activating its continuous activity , its keenness to organize qualification , training courses for referees and trainers.
