Yemeni scholars organize an expanded meeting to celebrate the Friday of Rajab and emphasize the faith identity and the Palestinian cause
The Capital Municipality and the Yemeni Scholars Association organized today an extensive scientific meeting to celebrate the Friday of Rajab and inaugurate the activities related to it, under the slogan "With our faith identity, we triumph for our Palestinian cause."
- The Grand Mufti of Yemen, the scholar Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, stressed that the commemoration of the Friday of Rajab reflects the depth of the faith identity of Yemenis and embodies their attachment to the Islamic religion and their support for the Palestinian cause as the central cause of the nation.
- The head of the General Authority of Endowments, the scholar Abdul Majeed Al-Houthi, stressed the importance of this occasion to promote spiritual values and the Yemeni people's adherence to their faith heritage and the honorable roles of their ancestors in spreading Islam.
- First Undersecretary of the Capital Municipality Khaled Al-Madani referred to the significance of celebrating the anniversary of Yemenis' conversion to Islam, stressing the importance of the role of scholars and preachers in consolidating religious values and national identity.
The participants called for the need to support the Palestinian people, who are subjected to genocide, by supporting Gaza and supporting the fronts in the face of the Zionist occupation and American aggression.
Scholars and preachers affirmed Yemen's firm position towards Palestine and considered Yemenis' stand with the Palestinian cause as an authentic position pulsating from their faith identity.
Sharaf al-Din praised the military operations carried out in support of the Palestinian cause and targeted Ben Gurion Airport and Zionist sites, stressing that Yemen will continue to bear the responsibility of upholding the right.
The statement issued by the meeting urged the continuation of popular and official action in support of the resistance, including weekly marches and support for the capabilities of the missile and air force.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the mandate of Commander Abdul Malik al-Houthi in all his decisions and praying for a speedy victory for the Palestinian people.
