The Undersecretary of the Customs Authority, Adnan Al-Ghaffari, inspected on Wednesday the workflow and performance at Dhamar Customs and Control Office.
The Undersecretary was briefed on the performance level of employees, the progress of the various procedures of the documentary cycle and the extent of adherence to the general guidelines aimed at simplifying procedures and completing transactions on time.
During his meeting with the director of the office, Jalal Al-Jalal, Al-Ghaffari emphasized the need to develop solutions and remedies for long-standing issues, as well as taking the necessary measures to speed up the process of releasing goods
The meeting, which included representatives of a number of agencies, including agriculture , standards and metrology, discussed topics related to joint work and emphasized the need to provide the centers with more employees specialized in the field of standards and metrology to cover the existing deficit in this field.
Al-Ghaffari also reviewed the work progress of the car demarcation committee in Radaa.
During his meeting with the head of the committee, Samir Qazi, Al-Ghaffari stressed the keenness to absorb the observations and work on providing the work requirements to ensure that the demarcation process moves forward as soon as possible.
