The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Amin Al-Massawi, inspected the maintenance project of the main road from Al-Hawban Tour to the Sofitel Tour, which is 5.4 km long.
Mahmoud Al-Junaid and Mabrouk Dammaj received a briefing on the progress of a project that involves several key tasks. This includes repairing potholes on the road, addressing areas of water accumulation with road slabs, and applying a soft asphalt layer. The project is funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services and is supervised by the Road Maintenance Fund's Internationally Funded Projects Unit.
The Acting Governor emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to complete the project within the designated timeframe and in line with the approved specifications and standards.
He pointed to the importance of the main road maintenance project, to facilitate the movement of vehicles, enhance traffic safety performance, and alleviate the suffering of citizens.
