The Women's Authority in Hamdan district of Sana’a province organized on Friday a large solidarity gathering in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance. The event, held under the slogan “We are steadfast with Gaza... and we continue to confront the Zionist-American project,” highlighted Yemeni support for Palestine amid ongoing violence in Gaza.
Participants waved Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans condemning the Zionist aggression against Gaza and criticizing the silence of the Arab and international community. They expressed pride in Yemen's strong stance against Zionist-American aggression, including military operations by Yemeni armed forces targeting enemy vessels.
A statement released during the event denounced the continued Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people and emphasized the women’s sector’s unwavering solidarity with Gaza, pledging support with all available resources.
The statement condemned American-backed Zionist expansion in the Middle East, accusing Israel of pursuing a “Greater Israel” project to reshape the region. It called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as free people worldwide, to take action to end the ongoing extermination campaign against the people of Gaza.
Additionally, solidarity was extended to the Syrian people, who also face Zionist aggression and territorial occupation.
