The leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, said on Wednesday, during a meeting with a group of commanders and officials in the navy on the occasion of the Navy Day, that any confrontation will cost the enemy dearly.
According to Tasnim International News Agency, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the navy as a vital and decisive force in the world today, and praised the activities of various divisions of the army's navy, including operations, intelligence, support, construction, and innovation.
He added that the general orientation of the armed forces, especially the navy, should be focused on all activities and planning on enhancing readiness and combat capabilities.
He pointed out that enhancing combat capabilities is a key factor in preventing enemy attacks, adding that the most important task of the armed forces is to prevent aggression, so work should be done to demonstrate the combat capabilities of the country in a way that makes enemies aware that any confrontation will cost them dearly.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also stressed the importance of continuing naval missions, noting that technical and technical means could be used to convey the details of the mission of the 86th Naval Group, which lasted several months, to public opinion.
At the beginning of the meeting, Admiral Shahram Irani, Commander of the Iranian Army Naval Forces, presented a report on the programs and activities of the Navy in various fields.
