Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi met on Tuesday with Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Quhaim to review the ministry’s ongoing activities and projects.

During the meeting, Prime Minister al-Rahawi highlighted the critical role of the ministry, noting its direct impact on citizens' daily lives, particularly in vital service areas.

He commended the ministry's efforts to automate services, aiming to simplify and streamline procedures for citizens.

Minister Quhaim briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of the ministry’s automation program, which includes enhancing the efficiency of services at both central and local levels.

He also emphasized the ministry’s collaboration with local authorities to strengthen the role of public works offices in managing violations, particularly in urban neighborhoods and public streets.

Additionally, Minister Quhaim outlined the ministry’s preparations for the upcoming martyr's anniversary, noting its commitment to honoring the occasion and contributing to national celebrations in line with the government’s plans.
