Sana'a - Saba:
A joint meeting of the administrative body and board of directors of the executive unit for the construction , maintenance of roads and public places in Sana'a province, chaired by Governor Abdul Basit al-Hadi, discussed the activities of the unit, the projects and future plans implementation level .
The meeting, which included the Secretary General of the Local Council - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, members of the Administrative Board, Abdul Salam Al-Jaifi, Mahyoub Mahdi and Ali Al-Suhaili, the Governor's Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntaser, and members of the Board of Directors, reviewed the report of the Director of the Unit on the tasks and duties carried out in implementation of the decisions and recommendations of the previous meeting.
The meeting assigned a committee headed by the Undersecretary of Technical Affairs and the membership of the Finance Office Director , the Acting Director of the Executive Unit and the Works Sector official to develop a mechanism to repair potholes in the asphalt streets, as well as a plan to implement an asphalt protection layer for streets in the province center.
At the meeting, Governor Al-Hadi stressed the importance of adhering to the timetable for the implementation of projects submitted by the executive unit, praising the efforts exerted in implementing tasks and projects within the province's plan, as well as emergency projects.
He emphasized the keenness of the local authority to overcome all difficulties, pointing to the importance of concerted efforts , integration of roles to develop work and provide the needs for the implementation of projects according to priorities in all districts.
The Secretary General of the Local Council, Al-Jilani, pointed to the need to fill potholes first, remove randomness and disfigurement from asphalt streets and maintain the general appearance of the province.
