HODEIDA -- SABA - The coast of Hodeida city Corniche was alive with festivities this Friday evening as a celebration marked the tenth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, themed "Freedom and Independence."
Attended by Hodeida first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri, local leaders, and a large crowd of military figures, the event featured speeches expressing solidarity with the leader of the revolution and the Yemeni people.
Participants conveyed their determination to uphold the revolutionary spirit and achieve the revolution's goals of freedom and sovereignty, resisting foreign hegemony led by America, Britain, and the Zionist entity.
The celebration underscored the revolution's significance as a model for liberating Yemen from external control and highlighted its achievements, including the restoration of Yemen's sovereign decision-making.
Speeches delivered during the event emphasized that the September 21 Revolution marked a turning point in Yemen's history, ending a period of dependency and foreign interference.
The festival showcased national pride through poems, operettas, and folk dances, all reflecting the spirit of this historic occasion, while participants renewed their commitment to the revolutionary leadership and the ongoing struggle for independence and dignity.
