SANA'A - SABA: Al-Wahda district in the capital Sana'a hosted on Saturday a sports marathon and a speech event celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, organized by local authorities and attended by prominent officials.
The event was organized by the Youth and Sports Office of al-Wahda district, with key attendees including district director Sami Hamid, Amin Jumaan from the Civil Aviation Authority, and Abdullah Al-Dharafi, the general mobilization official. The marathon featured 150 participants from schools and mosques in the district.
The sports marathon began near al-Sabeen Hospital, passed by Finance Bridge, and concluded at the Sports Recreation Club on Police College Street. Amjad Muhammad Hussein Muidh emerged as the first-place winner. Additionally, the Unity Institute for Health Sciences hosted a speech event on the same occasion.
Both events were held in al-Wahda district in the capital Sana'a.
The activities were part of the celebrations marking the Prophet's birthday, symbolizing the Yemeni people's steadfastness and loyalty amid ongoing conflicts.
