MOSCOW August 31. 2024 (Saba) - Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of the Belgorod region in southwestern Russia, has reported that the death toll from Ukrainian shelling on Belgorod and its suburbs last night has reached 46, including seven children.
According to Novosti Agency, the attack resulted in five immediate deaths and 46 injuries. Of the injured, 37 individuals, including seven children, are receiving treatment in hospitals.
One child remains in critical condition and has undergone surgery.
The incident has reportedly been underreported by major American media outlets, such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, CNN, Fox News, and CBS, with minimal coverage by the Associated Press, which issued only a brief 20-second video confirming the casualties.
