BERLIN August 31. 2024 (Saba) - Five people were injured in a stabbing incident that occurred Friday night on a bus in Siegen, located in the German state of Westphalia, north of the Rhine River.
According to the German newspaper "Bild," a woman attacked five passengers with a knife.
Three of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
The suspect, a German national, has been arrested. Authorities believe she may be mentally ill and under the influence of drugs at the time of the attack.
The bus was carrying approximately 40 passengers when the incident took place.
