JENIN August 28. 2024 (Saba) - In a series of attacks on Wednesday, Zionist drones struck Palestinian areas, resulting in the martyrdom of seven Palestinians and injuries to others.
Three young Palestinians were martyred at dawn when a Zionist drone targeted a vehicle in the village of Seir, southeast of Jenin.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Palestinian WAFA news agency, the bodies of the three martyrs were recovered from the vehicle located between Seir and Masiliya villages and are being transported to the hospital.
In a separate attack, four young men were martyred and several others injured due to an Israeli drone strike on Far'a camp, south of Tubas. Medical sources confirmed the casualties and noted difficulties in accessing the injured due to a siege imposed by Israeli forces, which also obstructed ambulance operations.
The Israeli forces had stormed Far'a camp at midnight with a large contingent of infantry soldiers, military reinforcements from the Hamra military checkpoint, and a bulldozer. Snipers were heavily deployed inside and around the camp, and the skies were dominated by drones, leading to intense clashes with the forces.
In Tulkarm, Israeli occupation forces encircled hospitals last night, blocking access and impeding ambulance movement.
The forces surrounded Al-Israa Specialized Hospital and Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, detaining and searching ambulances.
The occupation forces also deployed extensively across the city's neighborhoods, including Nablus Street, Iktaba Roundabout, Rashid neighborhood, and Jabal al-Nasr at Nour Shams camp entrance. The area saw a significant presence of pedestrians, snipers, and reconnaissance planes.
Additionally, Israeli forces arrested Hamza Muqbil from his home in Nour Shams camp and dispatched heavy bulldozers to demolish and level vehicle maintenance facilities and infrastructure around key areas in Tulkarm.
An Israeli drone also bombed a site in al-Manshiya neighborhood of Nour Shams camp, resulting in two civilian injuries.
