MOSCOW August 24. 2024 (Saba) - The coordinator of the secret network loyal to Russia in Nikolaev, Sergei Lebedev, announced that at least 20 Ukrainian soldiers, who were supposed to be sent to the Russian Kursk region, were killed in Glukhov, Sumy province, as a result of a Russian strike with high-explosive "FAB" bombs.
Sputnik quoted Lebedev as saying: "New forces were supposed to go to the Kursk province... The number of dead is not known yet, at least 20."
Lebedev confirmed that "Russian drones attacked a car carrying Ukrainian officers and a truck carrying members of the Ukrainian forces. The strike was carried out in the Bereza village, where there is a point for transferring equipment and temporary ammunition depots for Ukrainian forces."
The strike also hit a military equipment repair plant in Belopolye, where there were 22 Ukrainian tracked vehicles and up to 30 servicemen, according to the same source.
