Millions march in Sana’a to support al-Aqsa, Gaza, vow continued resistance, escalation

SANA'A August 16. 2024 (Saba) - Over million people took to the streets of Sana’a on Friday in a massive march of solidarity with the Palestinian people, reaffirming their unwavering support for al-Aqsa and Gaza amid ongoing Nazi Occupation aggression.

The march, held under the banner "Support for al-Aqsa and Gaza... Support Continues and the Response is Coming," demonstrated Yemen’s commitment to the Palestinian cause.

The enormous crowds in the capital Sana’a praised the formation of Yemen's new government of change and construction, viewing it as a crucial step toward addressing the nation’s challenges and easing the suffering of its citizens.

Participants pledged their full support to the new administration as it navigates this critical period, emphasizing the importance of unity in the face of external threats.

The marchers renewed their commitment to continued mobilization and resistance in solidarity with the Palestinian people, vowing to support Gaza's struggle against the Nazi occupation.

They also expressed their backing for the Yemeni leadership's decisions to escalate actions against the forces of aggression, holding the U.S., Israel/Occupation, and their allies responsible for the atrocities committed in Gaza.

In a powerful display of unity, the crowds, including military police reserves and university graduates, chanted slogans condemning the inaction of Arab and Islamic nations in the face of genocide and massacres in Gaza.

They called for ongoing military readiness, preparing for what they termed the "promised conquest and holy jihad."

A statement issued during the march highlighted the atrocities committed by Israel, noting that over 3,535 mass massacres had been inflicted on Palestinians in Gaza over the past eleven months.

The statement condemned the global silence and complicity of Western and Arab nations, calling for a stronger response to these crimes.

The marchers also celebrated the recent missile attack by al-Qassam Brigades on occupied Jaffa, viewing it as a clear indication of the continued strength and capability of the Palestinian resistance.

The statement declared that no area is safe for the occupiers and warned that more significant responses are on the horizon.

In a final plea, the marchers urged the Arab and Islamic world to rise against the ongoing injustices, questioning their silence and urging them to take a stand against the atrocities being committed.

The march concluded with a strong message of continued support for Palestine and a promise of escalating resistance until victory is achieved.
