GAZA August 14.2024 (Saba) - Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, on Wednesday aired footages for launching projectiles towards the headquarters of Zionist enemy army, north of Khan Younis city, south Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine Today Agency, the Brigades stated that the projectile devices it fired were of the “Ababil” type, which is a tactical projectile device that is launched using a launcher fixed to the ground, and is used in specific missions and covers open areas within its feasible range.
"The Ababil projectile weapon works with a burst system based on the target, and fires at least two devices," the Brigades added.
The videos showed the "Ababil" projectiles falling towards the headquarters of the "Israeli" occupation army, located north of the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
In a previous statement, the Brigades said they bombarded with mortar shells a position of Zionist enemy soldiers on the supply line in the “Netzarim” axis.
