TEHRAN August 14. 2024 (Saba) -The leader of the revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, stressed that the grip of the enemies is not as strong as it is being promoted. "We must rely on ourselves and trust in our abilities," he said.
During his speech on Wednesday during a meeting with members of the National Martyrs' Congress in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad provinces, Khamenei stressed that "exaggerating the ability of enemies is aimed at spreading fear among the Iranian people from the United States, Britain and Israel."
He pointed out that "the enemy's goal of psychological warfare in the military field is to spread fear and push for political and economic retreat to achieve its goals." "Non-tactical retreat in any field, whether military or political, media and economic, will lead to Allah's anger," he said.
"Our martyrs and mujahideen have thwarted the psychological war waged by the enemies against Iran since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution," he said.
Khamenei pointed out that "there are many countries that surrender to arrogance, but if they rely on their capabilities and understand the capabilities of the enemy, away from intimidation, they can reject the demands of arrogance."
Submission to enemies in the cultural arena means "changing our culture in favor of the other's culture, and even using expressions that are alien to ours", he said. He stressed the need to encourage young people who resist psychological warfare and to translate this steadfastness into works of art.
