GAZA August 14. 2024 (Saba) -625,000 children in Gaza, including 300,000 of UNRWA students, have lost a school year, the General Commissionaire of the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) tweeted on Wednesday.
The war on Gaza had huge impact on children, their mental and psychic health in particular, Fylyb Lazaryny added, so "we should bring them back to school in cooperation with partners."
Four of five schools in Gaza were directly bombed or damaged and need repairs or rebuilding to be used again, he wrote on 'X'.
