SANA'A August 14. 2024 (Saba) – The General People’s Congress, along with its allies in the National Democratic Alliance, has expressed its support for the newly formed government led by Ahmed al-Rahawi.
This new administration takes office during a critical and sensitive period for Yemen.
In a statement, the Congress and its allies emphasized the importance of the government adhering strictly to the constitution, laws, and regulations.
They called for the administration to improve executive performance, address past challenges, and work effectively to resolve citizens' issues amid the current economic difficulties.
The statement also highlighted the government's role in preserving Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and independence, marking these as top priorities.
The Congress's statement and its allies expressed optimism that the new government will meet the aspirations of the people and alleviate their burdens.
