Al-Aqsa Support Committee condemns massacre on displaced in Gaza
[Wed, 14 Aug 2024 18:36:41 +0300]

SANA'A August 14. 2024 (Saba) – The Supreme Committee for Supporting al-Aqsa, led by First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Meftah, on Wednesday condemned the recent massacre committed by the Zionist forces against displaced individuals at al-Tabeen School in Gaza.

The enemy killed over 100 deaths and and injured numerous others.

The committee expressed strong disapproval of the ongoing silence from both Arab and international communities regarding this atrocity, which targeted civilians during their dawn prayers. This silence, the committee argued, reflects a broader failure of global and regional actors, particularly highlighting the complicity of the United States and the ineffectiveness of the Arab and Islamic regimes in addressing the crisis.

It criticized the continued desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque, particularly referencing the recent large-scale incursions led by Zionist officials, which the committee views as provocative actions against Muslims worldwide.

The committee emphasized that such actions are part of the Zionist agenda to alter the status quo of the holy city, and they urged Muslims globally to adopt strong positions in response.

It also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting al-Aqsa and Gaza, praising the Palestinian resistance factions for their courageous efforts against the Zionist occupation.

The committee highlighted the significance of the recent bombing of Tel Aviv by al- Qassam Brigades as a notable response to the ongoing aggression, demonstrating the resilience of the resistance despite the enemy's attempts to suppress their operations.

Looking ahead, the committee approved plans for a major weekly march set for Friday afternoon in al-Sabeen Square, Sana'a, and additional solidarity events across free provinces and districts to support the people of Gaza.

It lauded the previous week's turnout of over a million participants in 316 solidarity activities, which they believe reflects the deep-rooted values and moral integrity of the Yemeni people.

The committee is confident that upcoming solidarity activities will match, if not exceed, the scale and impact of previous events, underscoring Yemen’s role as a pivotal supporter of the Arab and Islamic nation in the fight against injustice.
