SANA'A August 13. 2024 (Saba) - The Secretary of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, inspected the progress of work on the sewage network project in Bani Al-Harith District, at a value of 190 thousand dollars.
Abbad, along with the Secretariat's Undersecretaries for the Works Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi and Ibrahim Al-Makhdi, and the Assistant Undersecretary for the Services Sector, Abdullah Hussein, inspected the work carried out within the first phase of the sewage network connection project for the Eastern Military College neighborhood, which is being implemented through the Public Works Project and funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
They listened to an explanation from the engineers about the components of the project, which includes the implementation of a main sewage line with a length of 730 meters, and branch lines with a length of 630 meters, in addition to home connections, manholes and inspection rooms in the targeted neighborhood, as well as the completion rate, which reached 43 percent.
