SANA'A August 13. 2024 (Saba) - Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Rai' met on Tuesday with head of the Government of Change and Construction, Ahmed al-Rahawi.
In the meeting, al-Rai' and al-Rahawi discussed cooperation between the parliament and the government, emphasizing the need for integration in line with directives from the revolutionary leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and President Mahdi al-Mashat.
Speaker al-Ra'i congratulated the new government on gaining confidence from the revolutionary and political leadership, expressing the parliament's commitment to supporting the government's reform initiatives by approving necessary laws and regulations.
Prime Minister al-Rahawi stressed the importance of parliamentary cooperation in achieving the government's goals, which focus on administrative and economic reforms, agriculture, public health, education, and community initiatives aimed at self-sufficiency.
